CEO & Founder's Message

"As a CSEC student at the age of 16, the secondary school I presently attend, The University Of Waterford, was suddenly closed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic on March 17th 2020 in my home, Barbados. My education and leisurely activities were halted immediately along with my motivation and determination to study for my CSEC May/June 2020 exams. Unaware and afraid, I reached out to Caribbean virtually educational entities where then I discovered, I was not alone. In the moment of relief and peace, the demand for a solution to demotivated students was exceedingly high. Therefore, I founded the youth-organization Private Caribbean Study Goals on March 28th 2020.

By founding PCSG, in a general stance, students now have the accessibility to share their educational goals and academic and personal struggles with their fellow Caribbean classmates and "Study-Buddies". Individually, I now have the accessibility to share my educational goals and academic and personal struggles with my fellow hardworking volunteers and my dedicated and supportive team. I have obtained support and encouragement from our students as we help them and ourselves simultaneously. Since March 2020, PCSG has impacted hundreds of students educationally and personally throughout the year. Fascination and pleasure is within me as I read the messages of gratitude and support from students my age, younger and older. I am grateful to God, my family and friends for the support and love they have given me for continuing PCSG and
helping students just like me."
